Build It International.
The video clip shows the construction of Butempa School in Zambia. Local builders have been trained to use the 'Micro-cement tile machine' to make high quality durable roofs, with better insulation from the tropical sun than the tin sheets so common in Africa. The local workers have also been trained to use the 'Interlocking stabilised soil blocks' brick press resulting in a cheap, high quality brick. The video demonstrates how Build It International supports local builders to improve their building methods & business skills and in the process construct buildings to help poor people meet their basic needs of shelter, education and health.
